You can rest assured that the health and safety of our birds is of paramount concern, and no cruelty will befall them at any time. Our birds are looked after extremely well, which is born out by the fact that they choose to come home to us every day and not fly off to the wild. They fly around our home every day, have inoculations every year, receive vitamin supplements, and bathe in “bath salts”! Bred here in Norfolk, our birds are vaccinated, registered and licensed with Norfolk County Council , and are fully trained to return home after being released. This is achieved by taking baskets out into the countryside, then releasing the flock, which then make their way home, learning environment of Norfolk & Suffolk on the journey.Our “release” birds are the "Logan”" (Rock Dove) , which are actually small white pigeons; they have extremely good "homing" ability and once trained, find their way home from hundreds of miles away! (but we only let them fly approx. 50 miles!) .....Our stunning Fantail Doves are only used for display purposes, as they do not have the essential "homing" ability to find their way home.T&C's (basics)Full terms and conditions available upon request. • A deposit of £50 is due at the time of booking; the balance must be paid in full six weeks prior to the event. *Our package prices do not include a possible mileage surcharge, to be discussed and agreed at time of booking. • In the event that you wish to cancel the booking before three calendar months of the booking date; a full refund will be offered. Cancelations between three calendar months and one calendar month of the booking date, customers must forfeit the £50 deposit (UNLESS we succeed in re-booking another event in which case we will refund the deposit); cancelations within one calendar month will result in customer forfeiting the full balance. • In the unlikely event this company has to cancel the booking because of extremely bad weather, stock health or any other unforeseen problem, we will reserve the right to cancel, if this should occur a full refund will be paid. • Please ensure permission is granted at your chosen venue for the releasing of doves. Releases must always take place outdoors where there are no overhead cables.
